Jazzercise with Shawn Masse and Friends (Tustin & Irvine, CA)

FAQ

What can I expect in a Jazzercise class?
Each class is approximately 60 minutes and incorporates a warm-up, aerobic workout, strength training and a final cool down segment. Dance routines are choreographed to a variety of music and combine jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, and more to create a truly effective total body workout.

"Learn the Moves" are available at Jazzercise.com. You'll see instructional video clips on how to perform each move and use the optional hand-held weights and tubes. Your confidence will soar as you practice the Jazzercise dance moves at home then again in class.

Our goal is for you to have a good time while improving your health and fitness. We are always available before class to work with you one on one, too!

How much does a class cost?

What is the Joining Fee?
Tustin/Irvine Jazzercise has a one-time joining fee of $50.00 for all new Jazzercise participants and those who have not registered within the past 2 months.   This fee is waived with EFT!

What is EFT?
EFT is an abbreviation for Electronic Fund Transfer (as known as Easy Fun Ticket). EFT automatically deducts a monthly class price from your checking account on the first of the month. Over the year, EFT will give you $170 worth of FREE Jazzercise compared to the 2 month pass.  Provide your instructor a written cancellation by email or in class by the 15th of the month and it will be effective the following month.

Do I need weights or tubes?
Weights/tubes are optional for new customers. We recommend you familiarize yourself with the basic exercises and techniques before using light (3-5 lb.) weights or a resistance band.

May I bring drinks and food to a class?
We recommend Jazzercisers bring a non-breakable water bottle with a lid to class. Prevent accidents and spillage by keeping drinks out of the way of other Jazzercisers. No food or gum, please.

How often should I exercise?
If you are new to exercise, begin with 2-3 classes a week and gradually add classes. To increase your fitness level, work out 4-5 times per week.

Do I need special clothes or equipment?
Any loose, comfortable clothing that allows for sweat evaporation is ideal. Most people wear bike shorts or jazz pants and a bra top or T-shirt. Bring along a beach towel or exercise mat for the floor work. Good, rubber-soled aerobic shoes are recommended.
